Ready to Start a New Life?

February 7, 2010

You've left everything else behind and are riding on a bus, with only Rover to explain what is going on. Soon, you step off and begin to enjoy your new town. With funny neighbors, crazy events, and free things, whats not to love? Thats right, I'm talking about Animal Crossing: Wild World, for wii.

i how in tihs version everything is so more detailed and I like how the characters don't run on such an obvious script, they mix it up a lot more than in the DS version. I enjoy the city but get annoyed at the early closing times. I mean, the stores in your town go until 12, but the ones in the city close at 9. I like how the shoeshine gal changes your shoes, something I really wanted from previous versions. I like how the Happy Room Academy is a store and you can go change your options, like if you're going to get the letters or not. Shampoodle, the hair salon, has gotten even better with new hairstyles and even the old ones. Now, you can get a complete makeover where you take your Mii's face. I don't really like that because all the Mii heads look to long on an animal crossing character's body. I love how easy it is to change tools, instead of having to go to your inventory. I also love the deeper storyline going on with the shop-keepers. It is fun and totally entertaining.

There are some things I dislike. It is harder to be more into your town, since the game is for the wii. It was easier to check up once a day on the DS. And house morgages are much more expensive. This leads me to sell animals instead of donating them to the museum. I also hate how Capp'n talks to you on the bus. He runs a 5 dialogue track, and I've heard every conversation so many times I might die. I enjoy the characters walking around the city but you can't really talk to them. I hate GracieGrace's prices. And so far shes only used 4 sets of clothing. How boring is that? Although her furniture is great, 120,000 bells for a small chair? Really?

I think that this is a great game that needs a little more work. If you liked the previous versions of Animal Crossing, prepare to be blown away. If you've never played before, you'll fall in love just like the rest of us.

ANYHOW
At lunch I was sitting near Sergio and a bird ran into a window and died(no joke). So I wrote a poem. AHEM!

The Dead Bird Poem

Oh Bird,
Your short or long existance may or have not been wonderful,
Your mate, girlfriend, or mother will miss you(maybe).
We will mourn you forever or until we forget,
We will never forget your plight to get to the cafeteria,
But, alas, the window was in the way,
The windex it is cleane...

The Hunt Is On...

November 13, 2009

I am a Vault Hunter. Ever since I was a young lad, my mother would tell me stories about how there was this planet called Pandora. It was a total wateland filled with Bandits, Thugs and Theives. Yet, in this dump of a planet holds a treasure so valuable, so precious, that if you were to find it, you would hold all power! So rich, you could buy a swimiming pool in your swimming pool! The Galaxy at your fingertips. It has been said that a guardian angel is meant to lead you on your way, or se...
