The Hunt Is On...

I am a Vault Hunter. Ever since I was a young lad, my mother would tell me stories about how there was this planet called Pandora. It was a total wateland filled with Bandits, Thugs and Theives. Yet, in this dump of a planet holds a treasure so valuable, so precious, that if you were to find it, you would hold all power! So rich, you could buy a swimiming pool in your swimming pool! The Galaxy at your fingertips. It has been said that a guardian angel is meant to lead you on your way, or send you to your doom...
Now...young traveler...I have told you my story and I have only one question...would you DARE take on this adventure?
Story:
Even with the epic story^ that starts out at the beggining of the game, it lacks story progression. I enjoyed my first few missions in the small town of Fyrestone. Next, I met a redneck-looking guy by the name of TK BAHA. Yeah, I don't get it either... Then, you meet a friendly(lie) bandit by the name of Nine-Toes. Later, you, go on to fight a king! No, not just any king, hes the king of the midgets, King WeeWee. Your probably wondering by now, what does this have to do with anything? If you guessed: "Nothing WHAT SO EVAR!" You are right! They have absolutely no purpose in life, but to make it harder for you to get through the game by loading you up on lousy quests.
Gameplay:
Dont let my comments on the story get you down, the gameplay is SWEET! It plays a little like CoD, aim with the left trigger and shoot with the right. When you jump, you jump as if you were in Halo 2, you jump to about 8 ft in the air, which is good, because you can easily get stuck on rocks when you're trying to create a shortcut around them to totally snipe some unsuspecting bandit. Each character has a special ability that can drasticly change the course of how things are going on the field. One awesome mechanic that i noticed in the game was the way you revive/second wind. Unlike any game I have ever played, this game has a way to get you back up just like in Gears of War 2 and CoD by having a partner go up to you and heal you while you're down, but for example, you could be in the middle of a gunfight and all of a sudden, a genade lands next to you and your down. Whe your down, its as if you're in Last Stand in CoD, but in borderlands, you get down and you still have your main weapon. So you could have a Rocket Launcher and go down and still keep basting enemies, but as soon as you bast that first enemy when your're down, YOU GET BACK UP! Its AMAZING!
Style:
Not very realistic, but sure fits the way the game looks. Its like a cartoon/sketch shading game.

Overall:
A really good game 9 out of 10 for my list of Game of the Year. (will be hearing about it soon as the year ends.)
Thats all I have to say about this game, hoped you liked the review and I'll see you guys later...
Untill Next Time...
